Child Evangelism Fellowship® of Ohio

My name is Mark Horner and I am the State Missionary Director of CEF® of Ohio and District Director of East Great Lakes District. My wife Kathy is Missionary Director of Education. We have been involved with Child Evangelism Fellowship for over 30 years in various capacities since 1978.  It is a blessing to serve in this great ministry reaching children.                                                                        

Child Evangelism Fellowship of Ohio ® Inc. is part of a Bible-centered, worldwide organization composed of born-again believers whose purpose is to evangelize boys and girls with the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ, disciple them in the Word of God and establish them in a Bible believing church for Christian living.

Child Evangelism Fellowship, CEF, has been in existence since 1937 and has the same purpose and statement of faith today. CEF is currently working in over 176 countries around the world and continues to grow. In 2010 CEF ministries worldwide reached more than 10 million children with personalized and individual ministry. God has given CEF a vision to go "Around the World in 80 Years". It is our goal to be in every country in the world by 2017, which is CEF's 80th birthday.

CEF is here to train, equip, and encourage you and your church in reaching the children of Ohio for Christ. We are currently active in 54 of Ohio’s 88 counties. Last year we reached over 23,900 children with 2,705 professions of faith recorded. It is our desire to see CEF developed in all counties of Ohio. It is also our desire to partner with Local Bible believing churches to reach every child for Christ and to impact the public schools with at Good News Club.

Did You Know?

Did you know that CEF can take the Gospel to the children in public schools through our After School Good News Clubs?  You can be a part of this opportunity to reach the greatest amount of children ever. Last year in Ohio, our staff and volunteers conducted a Good News Club in 208 public schools reaching over 6,334 children and 1,110 children professed to have received Jesus Christ as Saviour.
